Government Properties Income Trust Second Quarter Conference Call Scheduled for Tuesday, August 3rd

NEWTON, Mass., Jul 27, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Government Properties Income Trust (NYSE: GOV) today announced that it will host a conference call in conjunction with the announcement of its second quarter 2010 financial results.

GOV plans to issue a press release containing its second quarter 2010 financial results before the NYSE opens on Tuesday, August 3, 2010. Later that afternoon, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Adam Portnoy, Managing Trustee and President, and David Blackman, Chief Financial Officer, will host a conference call to discuss the second quarter 2010 results. Following the company's remarks, there will be a short question and answer period.

The conference call telephone number is (888) 791-4321. Participants calling from outside the United States and Canada should dial (913) 312-0950. No pass code is necessary to access the call from either number. Participants should dial in about 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the call. A replay of the conference call will be available through 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2010. To hear the replay, dial (719) 457-0820. The replay pass code is 2195043.

A live audio webcast of the conference call will also be available in a listen-only mode on the company's web site, which is located at www.govreit.com.
